Three Reasons to Follow a Program
Want to make bigger, better gains? You may want to consider following a solid progressive program!
Although I generally believe any movement is good movement, if you have goals related to getting stronger or changing your body composition, following an exercise program is a really great way to:
Make better, more efficient progress - Following a progressive training program while tracking your workouts is where the magic happens!
Potentially increase your exercise adherence by removing barriers such as not knowing what to do at the gym or not understanding how to make your desired progress.
Improve motivation via structure and accountability - You may feel more motivated if the plan is there for you and you just have to show up and do the work!
The more specific your goals, the more specific your programming will need to be. You might not make the progress you want by following random Instagram workouts or never increasing your weights from week to week.
If you’re on the hunt for a program and you want to focus on any of the following…
focus on squat, bench, deadlift, and overhead press within a structured, yearly program
workout 4-5 days per week, in 60 minutes or less
receive form feedback via video analysis
have access to a coach (me!) for any and all strength and exercise related questions
…come join lunar team! We would love to have you.
